Price Verification Methodology

How we research U.S. gym prices, distinguish national and local rates, calculate first-year cost and document verification dates.

Quick answer: Every published price is classified by U.S. source, location, plan and billing frequency. First-year cost adds recurring dues and documented mandatory fees; an unavailable public numeric amount is stated directly instead of estimated.

Source priority

We prioritize official U.S. membership pages, local signup flows, official contracts, support pages and location amenity records. Secondary sources never override clearer official information.

Price classification

Every figure is labelled as a national published price, location-specific verified price, temporary promotion or clearly identified estimate. Prices from other countries are not mixed into U.S. ranges.

Cost calculations

Where data allows, first-year cost equals twelve months of dues plus enrollment, annual and other mandatory charges. We also calculate the effective monthly cost and explain what can change the total.

Publication gate

A page is published only after it has clear U.S. source context, useful answers, working links, readable mobile presentation and editorial review.
